Gilbert F. Adams

Gilbert F. Adams, age 76, of Camarillo passed away March 20, 2000, at a
Camarillo convalescent hospital.

Gilbert was born March 23, 1923, in Indiana and had made Camarillo his home
for the past 32 years. He was a retired master sergeant of the U.S. Air
Force. Gilbert was also a locksmith for over 20 years, serving the people in
Ventura County. He was also a member of Camarillo Masonic Lodge F & AM No.
824, Camarillo Order of the Eastern Star No. 649, the American Legion and
VFW. Gilbert served his country in three wars, World War II, Korean and
Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty; sons, Robert D. Adams of
Orangevale, Gilbert F. Adams Jr., of Orlando, Fla., and Richard Adams of
Ridgecrest; daughter, Betty Jo Kavanaugh of Camarillo; 14 grandchildren; and
nine great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from noon until 2 p.m. with a funeral service at 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 25, at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home. Interment will follow at
the Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please send your love in donations to the Alzheimer's
Association.
