Fellow Ventura County researchers,

All of the records that had previously been extracted by the Ventura County Genealogical Society and placed on the USGenweb site have been moved to a new website. The new website will provide more space and security. http://www.venturacogensoc.org/

You will still find "indexes" to the County marriage, guardianship, death, and probate records. Additional indexes include a massive database of obituaries, the Great Register of Voters, the 1875 City and County Directory, and more. Early deed indexes are in the process of being extracted, and will soon be posted. Please check the website often for new extractions.
