Don't feel bad -- I didn't catch the original post -- but you are on the
right track. Go with your instinct and pursue what feels right -- and
yes -- ask questions -- that's how we learn. Hey -- and I enjoy a some
funny things nows and then too. although I think some excellent
resource pages were also noted for more information.

Turns out that many people that settled Yolo County came from MO and
some of them fought in the Civil War.
I'm tracking folks from MO who came to Yolo County.
