William L. (Cowboy) Sutherlin

William L. (Cowboy) Sutherlin passed away at Sutter Davis Hospital, Sunday,
Feb. 13. Born Sept. 2, 1942 in Susanville, he was 57 years old.

Mr. Sutherlin was a Yolo County resident for 20 years. He graduated from
Cal-Poly in 1978 and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a cowboy and
a pilot. He was a member of the Buckeye Masonic Lodge of Esparto.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Sutherlin, of Winters. They were married
in Susanville in 1961. He also survived by his son, Mike Berg, and daughter-in-law,
Janice, of Maxwell; grandchildren, Nicole and Brian Berg, of Maxwell; mother,
Beaulah Sutherlin, of Paradise; sister, Linda G. Rockwell, and brother-in-law,
Rocky, of Magalia; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sutherlin was preceded in death by his father, William N. Sutherlin,
in 1995.

Visitation took place from 12-5 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Kraft Bros.
Chapel, 175 Second Street, in Woodland.

Graveside Services will be on Friday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m., at the Janesville
Cemetery, Janesville, CA.

Donations may be made in Mr. Sutherlin's memory to the Make A Wish Foundation,
1401 Halyard Drive, Suite 130, West Sacramento, CA 95691.
