HEART DISEASE - Last Sunday Richard Watson, employed on the Porter ranch
on the Solano side of Putah Creek, about 2 1/2 miles from Winters, while
on a visit to Mr. H. Austin, in Pleasant Valley, went into the stable to
saddle a horse, and while in the act of doing fell dead from disease of
the heart. We learn he had not been in very good health for some time,
but on Sunday a short time before death, he expressed himself as feeling
better than he had for some time previously. Deceased was about 40 years
of age. His remains were interred in the Winters Masonic cemetery on Monday
last.
