Angelina Terease Martin
Angelina Terease Martin passed away April 29, 1999, in Vacaville. Affectionately known as Angie, she was born in San Francisco, Sept. 9, 1926. She was 72 years old.
Angie was a resident of Winters for 27 years, prior to moving to Fairfield, where she resided for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker for 53 years, and also worked as a weigh-master for 22 years for Valley View Packing Co. in Fairfield.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Antonio M. Martin; daughters and sons-in-law, Esther and Andre Stone of Sacramento, and Angelina and Robert Stone of Vacaville; grandchildren, Sara Stone and A. J. Stone of Sacramento, and Ashley Long and Rachel Long of Vacaville; great-granddaughter Ashley Gabrielle Hayes-Stone of Sacramento and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Petrina Caramucci, and a sister, Rosemarie Hazelton.
A visitation and rosary prayer service was held Monday evening, May 3, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield. A funeral Mass was held Tuesday, May 4, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Fairfield. Interment followed at the Winters Cemetery. Rev. Sebastian Meyer officiated at the services.
Niece Patricia Layton sang Ave Maria and Amazing Grace at the Mass, granddaughters Sara Stone and Ashley Long gave the reading. All four of Angie's grandchildren took the gifts up to the altar.
Pallbearers were Joe Hazelton, Andy Stone, A. J. Stone, Robert Long, Tukie Layton and Steven Fong.
