ROMERO - In Woodland, Saturday, June 16, 1945, Manuel Romero, beloved husband of Zela June Romero; loving son of Mrs. Candida Romero and the late Joseph Romero; father of Thomas, Phillip and Daniel Romero; and brother of Mrs. Frances Vargas, Mrs. Antonia Molina, Mrs. Mary Sykes, Mrs. Carmen Copeland, Mrs. Constance Sanchez, Mrs. Josephine Abreo, Mrs. Tony Vinson, Joseph and Frank Romero. A native of Santa Clara, aged 30 years. The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Layng & Tinney Funeral Home, thence to Mt. Carmel Church where a requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 o'clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Menlo Park. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening.
