Orpha M. Neiderheiser

Orpha Marian Neiderheiser died at the Woodland Memorial Hospital on Nov. 13, 2001. Born in Omaha, Neb., on July 22, 1911, to the late Marion N. and Maren C. Lipps, she was 90 years old.

She was a Yolo County resident for 22 years. She was a secretary for 20 years, working for the American Baptist Convention. She was also a homemaker who loved to cook and decorate. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Christ Community Fellowship Church in Woodland.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Stabler and her husband Walter of Woodland; daughter-in-law, Sharon L. Neiderheiser of Omaha, Neb.; and grandchildren, Kathy Williams and her husband Walt and Bob Neiderheiser of Omaha, Neb., Karen Nelson and her husband Dick of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Patty Neiderheiser of Sunnyvale, Tom Stabler and his wife Pam of Placerville, Jim Stabler and his wife Cheri, Roger Stabler and his wife Gloria and Paul Stabler and his wife Carman, all of Woodland. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Neiderheiser, in 1994 and son, Robert Neiderheiser Jr., in 1991.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Woodland. McNary's Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
