Martha (Logan) Tredway

Martha (Logan) Tredway died of natural causes in Sonora Community Hospital Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at age 76.

Born March 1, 1926, in Chico, Mrs. Tredway had been a Yolo County resident for about 29 years. She had also resided in Modesto and Sonora. She was a seamstress; was employed as a bookkeeper for the County of Yolo for 15 years; and served as a bus driver for Yolo County Transit & Charter Firebus, transporting fire crews. She also served as a volunteer for Discovery Cancer Shop of Modesto. She was a member of: the Modesto chapter of Eastern Star, No. 72; Native Daughters of the Golden West, Woodland parlor ; and Evangelical Free Church of Modesto.

Mrs. Tredway is survived by her daughters, Shelly Stewart of Sonora, and Kay Smith of Walnut Grove; son, Chic Waggoner of Madera; grandchildren, Cory Perry of Turlock, Kyndra Easterday of San Jose, and Garrett Rochester of Sacramento; and three great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is her brother, Peter Loy of Oregon.

A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, in South Eastlawn Cemetery of Sacramento.

Memorials may be directed to the donor's favorite charity.

Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home of Sonora is assisting the family with arrangements.
