Martha J.C. Riley

Martha Jane Cole Riley died on June 4, 2002, in Santa Rosa after a brief illness. She was 84 years old.

She was born on Nov. 3, 1917, in Oregon.

She was a Davis resident for many years and was employed by UC Davis as the associate admissions administrator.

She is survived by her husband of more than 61 years, Walter Denman Riley; two sisters, Dorothy Josephine Carty of Santa Rosa and Helen Ann Derusha of Santa Cruz; her brother-in-law, Loring Derusha of Santa Cruz; her niece, Dorothy A. Murray of Santa Rosa; and three nephews, Stephen, John and Matthew Peet of Bakersfield.

She will be missed by her family, to whom she always exhibited love and grace.
