Robert Anthony Barber

Robert Anthony Barber passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003 at home in Sacramento.

Born Feb. 14, 1943, in Woodland, Ca. to the late Betty and Tony Barber. Robert was raised in Woodland and attended the Holy Rosary Academy there and Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, class of 1960. He received an Associate of Arts in Architecture from Menlo College in 1962 and graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Robert was part-owner/operator of Barber-Rowland, Inc. from 1967 through 1986. In the 70's through the mid-1980's he managed in excess of 15,000 acres of owned and leased farm land. He was known by many as a charitable man with a kind soul. Along with his parents, his only sister Sondra preceded him in death. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003 at 10 a.m., Saint Joseph Cemetery, 860 West Street in Woodland, California. Any remembrances should be donated to the charity of choice.
