Eugene Thomas Anderson
Eugene Thomas Anderson died at Woodland Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at age 49.
Born March 10, 1954, in Hanford, Mr. Anderson had been a Yolo County resident for 35 years. He was a 1972 Woodland High School graduate and also attended Sac City College. He worked for Quentin Anderson Land Leveling for 20 years and at Placer County Health and Human Services as a counselor for 10 years. He was involved in Boy Scouts, football and wrestling team.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie "Honey" Anderson; daughters, Katie Rankin of Sparks, Nev., and Nicole Anderson of Chico; sons, Chris Anderson of Paradise and Michael Bonilla of Auburn; grandchildren, Megan Anderson, Alex and D.J. Keelin, and Jacob Rankin, all of Sparks, Nev., and Avery Anderson of Chico; sister, Elaine Peña of Woodland; nieces, Sabrina, Tammie and Johanna Peña; and parents, Quentin and Kathy (Knudson) Anderson of Woodland. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Anderson and brother-in-law, Frank Peña.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled at noon Saturday, Sept. 6, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, (Cottonwood Avenue and Gibson Road). Burial will be conducted privately at a later date.
