To the Talamantes Family,
First of all, my condolences to the family of Fidel Talamantes.
I read the obituary in the San Francisco paper months ago. I told myself to save it but I misplaced it. One does not see the name Talamantes too often, especially on the internet.
I have been researching my genealogy and to no avail. We believe this is my Grandmother's maiden name only because other relatives mentioned this to us.
She was born in Mexico in 1869 and passed in 1928 in California. She married my Grandfather whose name is Dolores Rodriguez from Durango, Mexico. My mother used the name Soto as her mom's maiden name, never Talamantes.
Does the name Guadalupe Talamantes sound familiar to you? If not just ignore this.
I am on most of the genealogy areas on-line.
