Alice "Midge" Semore

Alice "Midge" Semore of Woodland died Sept. 21, 2003. She was 63.

Born Jan. 22, 1940, in Santa Rosa, she graduated from Eureka High School in 1957. She was employed by the hotel industry for more than 30 years. She moved to Yolo County four years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys Lingron, and her brother, Frank W. Lingron.

She is survived by three daughters, Tami Semore of Davis, Jeanette Baker and her husband David "Buck" of Woodland and Lynette Hjerpe and her husband Carl of Capay; a son, Darren Semore and his wife Terry of Oakdale; and five grandchildren, Jillian and Audrey Semore of Oakdale, Katie Rose and Jessica Baker of Woodland and Cooper Hjerpe of Capay.

Visitation and a funeral were held today at McNary's Chapel in Woodland, with burial at Monument Hill Memorial Park.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society.
