My great-grandparents lived in Yolo County for many years, mostly in the Woodland area.

Helene Ossenbriggen was born May 11, 1894 in Grand Island, Colusa Co., CA. Her parents were Peter Ossenbriggen and Helene Kissling, who both came from Germany and were married on April 28, 1889 (I don't know where). They had 5 children, Helene being the oldest.

William Rominger was born Oct 31, 1886, but I'm not sure exactly where (most likely California, but I don't know what county). William's parents (Charles Karl Frederich Rominger and Elizabeth Bickle) both immigrated from Germany, and were married somewhere in CA in 1884.

Helen and William married Oct 3, 1917 in Colusa Co., CA. They had four children. The youngest, Helen Elizabeth Rominger, is my grandmother and she was born in Yolo Co. in 1921.

Any more information on the family of Helene and William Rominger would be greatly appreciated. I know there are a lot of Rominger cousins who live in Yolo and Colusa counties.

-exact marriage date for Charles Rominger and Elizabeth Bickle
-date when Helene and William Rominger moved from Colusa Co. to Yolo Co.
-do I have the marriage date right for Helene and William Rominger? I just realized I have this same date for the birth of their first son, Virgil - I think I'm mixed up somewhere.
