Mary G. Kunz

Mary Grace Kunz died in Woodland on June 12, 2004. She was 45.

Born Jan. 19, 1959, in East Orange, N.J., she had been a Yolo County resident for 11 years. She was a longtime employee of Valley Records in Woodland. More recently, she was employed at Sysco Food Service in Pleasant Grove as an accounting supervisor. She also served as treasurer of Davis AYSO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest P. Valentinsson.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Kunz of Woodland; daughters, Signe Valentinsson of Berkeley and Mary Caitlyn Valentinsson of Woodland; son, Leslie Valentinsson, stepdaughter, Allison Kunz, and stepson Andrew Kunz, all of Woodland; mother, Mary Valentinsson of Belleville, N.J.; sisters, Nancy Labadia and her husband John of Glen Ridge, N.J., and Pat Waterman and her husband Terry of Dorset, Vt.; and brothers, Leo Valentinsson and his wife Elizabeth of Bloomfield, N.J., and Peter Valentinsson and his wife Alicja Kaminska of Bayonne, N.J.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Mary Grace Kunz memorial account educational trust fund for her children at the Yolo Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 657, Woodland, CA 95776.

A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christian Church, 509 College St. in Woodland. Arrangements are under the direction of Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland.
