Got Lost in Overflow, But Friends Saved Him
DAVISVILLE (Yolo Co.), April 19 - Florentine BOCA, a well-known employe on
the Elmo MONTGOMERY ranch, left here yesterday to drive to Sacramento, but
became confused when he reached the overflowed section and drove around
aimlessly for several hours before he was rescued from his perilous
position. He was discovered by W.S. WRIGHT, who telephoned to this place for
assistance. Fortunately, Boca in driving about in the water, failed to run
into very deep water. Had he done so, and the wonder is he did not, the
chances are that both he and his horse would have been drowned.
