INSECT'S BITE FATAL
WOODLAND (Yolo Co.), July 17 - Fong King Woo, a Chinaman employed on the
John STEPHENS ranch near Stephenson bridge, was bitten by an insect last
Thursday. He was taken to Esparto for medical treatment, but the wound was
fatal. It is not known what species of insect did the biting. The body was
brought to Woodland and interred yesterday.
