I received the following message from David DUNHAM yesterday. In addition to the information provided with regard to the two volumes for descendants of Hans Michael GOODNIGHT, David tells me that he also has the book on Hans Michael GOODNIGHT's brother Christian GOODNIGHT available for $26, which includes shipping. He says he also plans to put out a book on the descendants of Hans Michael and Christian's brother George Gerick GOODNIGHT if enough people are interested in it.

Volume One of the Hans Michael GOODNIGHT books includes information about descendants of George W. CARLOCK/CEARLOCK (b. ca. 1779, NC) and Rachel LANDERS. Rachel was both a granddaughter of Hans Michael GOODNIGHT and his first wife, as well as a niece of Hans Michael GOODNIGHT's second wife Mary LANDERS.

Hans Michael GOODNIGHT and Mary LANDERS were direct ancestors of President Harry S. TRUMAN. Hans Michael's brother George was a direct ancestor of Col. Charles GOODNIGHT of Texas, and Hans Michael and George's brother Christian was a direct ancestor of the sculptor Veryl GOODNIGHT.
