Susan,

As I said to DD, action is what's needed. Anyone interested should go
to their nearest Historical Society and learn what their concerns are.

If they aren't interested in cemeteries then check with the State Hist
Soc. Even check with Genealogical societies. Someone will be interested
and willing to help.

I know of a group in Sauk Co, Wisc that took the time to walk all of
the cemeteries in their county, even the ones with only five graves in
pastures and scrub forests. When they finished they published books,
listing the cemetery locations and who was buried there. That was in
1986, and one of the few counties in Wisc that has such books.

I bought one to help me find my cousins & g-g-grandfather, so I know
how helpful such a project would be for many reasons.

Baraboo is the county seat of Sauk Co, and the home of the Ringling
Brothers Circus. Their graves are well cared for. Neat place to visit.
