This poem reminds me also of a quote that was said in Amistad re: our
ancestors, but I can't remember it exactly and I was hoping someone could
for me. It was when Cinqa said to John Quincy Adams that our ancestors
lived so that we may have this moment - we are a result of their entire
existance. Can anyone clarify that for me. I would also like to see that
left as a monument to our kin. thanks, Connie
