Subject: [CEMETERY-L] tombstone symbols

I am familiar with the various organizational symbols on tombstones such as Masons, W.O.W., etc. but we have come across some old ones with cloaks or cloth with tassels draped across the tops and down the sides. Could someone tell us what these stood for? Where can we find more concerning other symbols on tombstones?
