I am responding to Michael Emery's comment that abandoned cemeteries should
remain exactly that way.

This is a question I have struggled with for over a year since I found an old
cemetery overgrown with brush and vinca. Before it was overgrown it had been
badly vandalized. I have wondered whether I should clean it up, repair the
stones, and fence it off or just leave it in peace. (There is already a
recording of the stones.)

I would appreciate any comments.
