Peggy,

I have no idea how large your cemetery is or how much is involved, but even
one person can do a lot if he/she is willing to work at it. In our case we
sent emails and snail mail letters to known descendants and explained what
needed to be done and asked for donations. They started coming in right
away. When we had enough to put up a fence, we did that, and we notified
all those who donated of what had been done and what was next on the agenda.

Thus it continued. As we worked and notified cousins etal, more donations
came in. My Christmas/Birthday request from my family was donations in lieu
of gifts. We got $200 more that way. You can operate on a shoestring if you
are careful in your spending and do the work yourselves.
