I am currently runing a petition with your service and I need to make a
change in how it is set up. While I do need to collect the address
information on the people that sign the petition, it is not acceptable to
have this information displayed on the internet for someone to collect ad
use as they wish. I consider this a unacceptable act and in violation of the
privacy of the 2000 plus people that have signed thus far. I had no idea at
all that this information would be displayed when the petition was set up
and I wish to have this changed at once so that only the number of
signitures is shown. I find it quite irresponsible for you to create a
script that would make this information public. If this cannot be done, I
wish to make arrangements to end the petition ASAP, collect the submitted
information, and start a new petiton with the correct settings. If that is
not possible, I need to end the petition drive here and relocate to a
service that will protect the privacy of the people that care enough about
this issue to to sign the petition.
Thank You,
William Spurlock

Thank you for the address.
I did take a print out to my Genie meeting.
The President made the announcement and said the club did not allow
petitions but if anyone wanted to sign it was up to them.
I have 69 signatures.
And they will print info in the next bulletin.
Thank you again for your hard work .
