Thanks to everyone for your positive comments and support of our cemetery
restoration project. I will pass these on to the Clinton Co Genealogical Soc
members at our next meeting. I had forgotten to mention, per Michelle's comment,
that we first approached the Society re their willingness to "take on" the project
and then drew up a 2-page plan outlining the steps needed for both the restoration
and the preservation/upkeep of this cemetery. This plan (as revised several
times!) was distributed to the Amish farmers, the oppositionist neighbor in a vain
attempt to win his support, the Society members, and attached a copy to every
grant request.

This List has made many more people aware of the interest in restoring these old,
historic burial places and is a wonderful site where one can find assistance in
doing so. It will be a great day when all cemeteries are rescued from oblivion and
the List no longer needed!
