Go to whatever county office in NC keeps property records.
It could be a tax assessor, county recorder or ....
Procedures vary from state to state.
You will also probably want to go back thru the history of ownership & see
if the cemetery was ever recognized in any of the deeds. There might be a
dedication, easement, or other restriction on use of that particular piece
of the parcel.

Could someone direct me in the steps to find who owns land where abandoned
cemetery is located?
After finding my great great grandmother's resting place I want to see that
the area is cleaned up and reclaimed from the wild.
