Do you have a reference page for your lookup in 1860 Wayne? We've got it (I
think) as we have most of 1850 & 1860 at our library. I could check Wednesday
for you. (I work 12 hrs Tuesday night and Monday they're closed for Columbus
day.) Many films are difficult to read because of poor quality ink to begin
with & because they didn't always do an outstanding job at the NA in filming
them.

One thing to try is to put a pastel piece of paper over the white background
on the reader. (Yellow, pink, blue work well). Sometimes it gives a brighter
contrast to the faded writing. It doesn't always work, but enough of the time
to at least try it.
