Subject: Post 1901 Census -- New totals posted

Greetings All.

Since my return frrom Ottawa I have made more than 500 updates to files
for MPs and Senators correspondence logs on the Post 1901 Census Project
website at the URL following my signature.

As of this morning all files sent have been loaded to the server and new
totals are shown online.

Senators show

FOR -- 18
AGAINST -- 2
NON-COMMITTAL -- 12
NO RESPONSE -- 64

MPs show

FOR -- 131
AGAINST -- 9
NON-COMMITTAL -- 67
NO RESPONSE -- 94

Ontario and Quebec are still showing a lot of blue question marks which
indicate we have received no letters of response from those MPs and
Senators. We would appreciate having any responses received from them
so that we can add them to their correspondence logs and update the
totals.

Letters and email to our representatives in Ottawa, and signatures on
petitions are still needed to show them that we have not forgotten our
need to regain public access to Historic Census Records. We must keep
the pressure on them until we have succeeded in our goal. Happy
Hunting.
