Greetings All.

Files for updating the Post 1901 Census Project Website (at the URL
following my signature) have just been sent and should be loaded to the
server within a few days.

These files bring the Hansard extracts, in both english and french
languages, of Senate Debates relating to Census and Bill S-12 up to date
as of 21 March. The next pages to be updated, aside from the MP and
Senator Scoreboards, will be those for the Hansard extracts of Debates
in the House of Commons.

Other recent additions to the website have been pages relating to our
Application for a Judicial Review in the Federal Court, the Town Hall
Meetings, my Critique of the so-called 'Compromise Solution', and links
to subscribe to the Canada Census Campaign mail list.

On 15 March 2002 I sent an Access to Information Request for the
Environice Research Report on the Town Hall Meetings and Focus Groups
held in December and January. I received confirmation of receipt of my
request on Wednesday, 20 March. Statistics Canada has 30 days in which
to respond to my request. By law, they must either provide the Report,
or if they intend to publish it within 90 days they can refuse my
request.

On Wednesday as well, I was advised that Professor Bill Waiser of the
University of Saskatchewan, and one of our plaintiffs in the legal
action, has submitted his own ATI request for the Environics Report.

Happy Hunting.
