I'm sure there is an official record of that marriage someplace, even
If the Courthouse burned. Duplicate records were kept. The county
Had to send that information on to the state. But beside that there
Were also newspapers from that time and marriages were printed in the
Paper. You may only get a couple lines but it is a citation for your
Genealogy. The trick is to find the location where it might have been
Printed. Good luck.

My parents were living in Cleveland Ohio but wanted to get married
quick. I was told that there was a "no waiting" requirement in
Kentucky. Does anyone know if this was true? The time frame would be
between 1938 to 1940. The state of Ohio has no record. Have also tried
New York, Niagara Falls marriages. Thank you, Terry in CA
