Hi,

My genealogy research has now taken me to Jackson, Mississippi. By the
time I am finished (if ever) I will be well versed in all 50 states.
Is there anyone out there missing the history of a relative? My great
aunt's father was William L. Graham, born 4-26-1900 in Branch County
MI. He married my great aunt's mother in 1918 in Coldwater MI. They
had 3 girls. Everyone was fine until after the 1930 census and William
dropped the girls off at a relative's home and disappeared. Just one
daughter is left, LaMoine who is 82 years old and would like closure on
her father. I found William's birthdate on his WWI registration. Then
I was able to find him in the SSDI with a last address being Jackson
MS. He probably did obtain in SS card in Ohio because he worked or
owned a filling station there. The SSDI shows a DOD as December 1976.

Could some kind soul please check to see if there is an obituary on him?

He may have married again and had more kids. I am going to order a SS-5
copy and then probably a death certificate from Mississippi.

I would love to give some closure to my great aunt. In fact we are
having a first family reunion on July 17. I located her first cousin
who they hadn't seen each other in 70 years but lived only 14 miles
apart. What a small world.

Thanks to all

Sally
