Hi all

I have downloaded PAF 4 just to see what it contains. I discovered a very usefull feature:

When you are in "Pedigree view" and mark the left arrow for 1. generation you get a
"Descendancy List", which I find most usefull - comparing to CFT 2.50 which just shows the kids.

The way the Source is done in PAF seems to be good too - but I would like to handle it in the CFT-way - which seems more logically to me. But 3 levels are very fine for source.

And I got a list as long as Broadway when loading notes for events - terrific!

:Still lacks a few things which I consider crucial: Still forces surname at
:end of full name, won't allow notes on events (only general individual
:note), doesn't allow sorting of events by date. One thing that I did like
:and has made me rethink how I was doing this in CFT Ver 3 is the Sources. I
:am in the process of changing CFT 3 source structure to be a bit more like
:PAF4 source structure - three levels (rather than two): source details
:(called citations in PAF), Source References and Repositories.
:Thanks, Ira
