G'day Ira,

Without a help file I am a little confused as to the relative uses of
Sources and Citations.

In my old database I had a number of sources viz:-

GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS" - Extract #4833874
GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS" - Extract #xxxxxxxx
GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS" - Extract #yyyyyy
etc.

These come across and translate as:-
Author: General Records Office (Scotland)
Title: "GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS".

and I would expect to put Extract #4833874, Extract #xxxxxxx, Extract
#yyyyyyy, etc
as Citations peculiar to each separate person.

I would then expect to enter a future Source/Citation from GRO(S) by
selecting the
GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS" source already in the system and adding another
citation "Extract#zzzzz".

I would then expect to see the Source in the LeftHS of the "Edit Individual"
"Source Tab" panel and the Citation in the RightHS.

This does not happen. I get a "closed book" icon with "GRO(S) "Scots
ORIGINS". in the LHS and nothing in the RHS with an "OPEN book" icon ALSO
with "GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS". in the LHS immediately below it, again nothing
in the RHS.

Further, if I highlight EITHER of the entries and click the Source icon I
just get a blank line in the Select source dialog.

Finally, just to check, I generated an Individual Story with Sources on the
individual concerned and the source "GRO(S) "Scots ORIGINS". appeared twice
against the Person as source 1 and 2 but no mention of the Citation. Other
sources appeared against bits of the story as expected.

Gee, I hope that all makes sense :-(

Then again I may be doing things all wrong.
