Hello Ira,

I have just installed Version 3.beta5 on my Windows95 platform. Loading
the CFTW2 data into the beta5 environment went relatively fast. My first
experience is not what I had expected:

1/ I do not know whether this is generic for version 3 but to my opinion
the NAME SEARCH function is much TOO SLOW. The data base I use for test
purposes contains about 2500 individuals which is not very large.
Nevertheless it takes SECONDS for the WINDOWS USER INTERFACE to catch-up
with typing a name! Version 2 does not have this problem.
2/ The Dutch language settings do not work at all. Are the language
tables pre-loaded in this version or do I have to do all of the editing
work again for this version?

I was not on the CFT-WIN list for some time and may have missed some
information therefore. I hope that these are known bugs or that a
solution is available.
