Subject: Remove Source data in Gedcom
Date: Tue, 19 Oct 2004 22:46:45 +0200

Hello,

Every now and then i give somebody a gedcom file of (part of) my family
tree. In some cases i do not like to give too much data. The export function
of Cumberland does give the capability to exclude data like 'notes'.
If i also do not want to include source data i first make an export to
gedcom, then i import this file again in Cumberland and remove all the
source data (with the source tool). Finaly i export this cleaned up file to
make it available to interested parties.

The question i have is; is there an easier way to do this?
And if not (a question to IRA); Is it possible to include a new checkbox in
the Gedcom export function (in the option 2 tab); 'Include Individual and
Event sources'.

Thanks
