My great great grandfather’s father was supoosedly from the Channel
Islands. I was only able to trace back to my great great grandfather who
was Thomas Noel. His father as apparently one of three brothers who
travelled to Newfoundland (Harbour Grace) and were traders in Channel
Islands. I am unfamiliar to use the seaman logs etc. to find out if
there were Noels who travelled here as there were multitudes of ships
every day arriving here from all parts of England. Any information you
may have will be greatly appreciated. I do have information from Thomas
to date if anyone is interested in acquiring the same. Here”s hoping you
have my missing link. I can be reached –
