If it's any help to you Avril, I have Philippe de GRUCHY married 17 June
1869 in St John, Jersey to Adelaide CARCAUD.

I have no more on Adelaide except the information that Pam gave out on
the 1851 Census but Philippe was christened 15 Nov 1842 and died 3 Jan
1887 in Canada. He left a widow and 6 children on his death. I only
have the barest info about three of them.
