Hi all,

I was wondering if any one is researching the ROSE family in Jersey.
Details as follows:

Robert Reginald Richmond Rose (b ?Bath, Somerset) Married Ann Waters (b 5
Feb 1774, Jersey), 23 December 1800 in St Helier Jersey. The marriage was
recorded in the Register of Troops in Garrison in the Island of Jersey. He
was at that time a purser on the HMS Pelican.

Known children:

Elizabeth Anne Rose bur 3 Aug 1803, St Helier, Jersey
Jane Mary Rose
Anne Rose bur 12 Sep 1812, St Helier, Jersey
Mary Rose believed to have married Elias Joseph De La Lande
Richmond Paton Rose
Ann Rose b 1819 married Thomas John Griffith (b 8 Jun 1817, St Helier) 15
April 1840 and emigrated to Australia in 1849.

There is also George Rose who was an engineer in the Royal Navy and retired
to jersey about c 1850.
