Hi,
Just did a count on my method and the 'A's of 1851 work out at about 129K's
just on 33% in size of your program. I'm just rewriting my program to deal
with more of the pertubations in the original and improve the sort maths.
Thus far a page should be out 100% correct and formatted will probably take
about 5 mins. (I have to change a few bits after scanning which takes a bit
of extra time manually which I will probably write into my program while
I'm at it). The actual formating and sorting for a page takes
les than the blink of an eye!
All this of course depends on how accurate the ORC scanning is. I'm running
at 100% 99% of the time which helps. I've not had anywhere near that accuracy
on any PC ORC software thus far.
A tip..... scanning the Indexes at less than 300 dpi is sure to result in
poor character recognition and a failure from the word go.
