Dear John

John (Jean) Hammond, (9.3.1801-14.2.1880), was Bailiff of Jersey from 1858
to the time of his death. In fact, I believe that he died whist officiating
at a case. His neice was Emilie Charlotte Le Breton, later known as Lillie
Langtry. He is my 3rd great granduncle.
