I have also had very good results from the Jersey Archives, and especially from Jason Casteldine. He emailed me what was available in the Archives, I paid about $20 by credit card, and he sent me many pages of birth and baptism records,as well as some census info on my gggm. Best of all, he was kind enough to indicate each individual relevant name. Jersey Archives is, by far, the best and nicest contact I have found in my search.

>The Jersey Archives are wonderful!  I've found a reference there to my 2xggrandfather John R. Prescott, a Greenwich Pensioner - they have a Pensioner's monthly receipt.  I am hopeful that this might give me some information on his service and lead me to further family data.  My question is, that as I live in the US, I am unable to see the record in person.  Does anyone have any idea on how I can get a copy of the information contained?
