Jacky
I cannot comment about your RENOUfs but I have a family of Jersey BUESNELs
who went to Australia and didn't stay for long. Clement BUESNEL was in Jersey
in 1841, married in Tasmania in 1848, had at least two children there, one of
whom was in London, England in 1871. Clement travelled (back) to Australia on
the Exeat in 1873, but was back in Jersey by April 1891. His brothers and
sister travelled to Victoria, Australia on the Schomberg in Dec 1855. Brother
François and sister Esther were back in Jersey by April 1861, whilst brother
Philippe Helier was in London by 1871 with his Tasmanian nephew. I do not know
when any of them made their return journeys.
