Dear All,

I am trying to track down my GG Grandmother's family (and further back!). She was called Betsy Renouf and was born in St. Martins, Guernsey in about 1831.

I have found a Renouf family in St. Martins in the 1841 census, with an Elizabeth of the correct age, so it is probably the right family. The father is John Renouf (50), the mother Mary (45) and two children apart from Elizabeth: John (20) and Maria (18).

Betsy Renouf went on to marry John Henry Queripel and have 10 children.

Any info about Renoufs in Guernsey, particularly St. Martins would be gratefully received. Thanks.
