Thanks Anne - I don't know how I missed those other Renouf siblings in St
Peter! I didn't have the baptisms of Henry, Philippe or Hugh - would you by
any chance have the godparents for these three? Do you know what became of
Philippe and Hugh? For the others, I can tell you that:
Eliza married Jean Le Moignan
Mary Ann married Jean Guiyon
Susanna (Sucky) died on 1 Jun 1848
Elias married Esther Blampied (I've found all his captain's records and
even a painting of his ship)
Emilia Esther married Edmund C. Marret
In the various contracts I mentioned (1866 after death of father and 1871
after death of mother) Charles John is described as "fils aîné et principal
héritier" and Ann is described in at least 3 different places as "fille
puisnée", which is very puzzling indeed. I agree that no later Ann has been
found, but the Ann Monet you found did give her birth parish as St Peter...
