Not able to help with regard their birth places but just in case you haven't
got this:
1891 CENSUS
No. 1 Providence Square, ST HELIER
William MAC/MCFARLANE - 42 - born St Helier, Carter, Head, md
Ellen MACFARLANE - 40 - born England, Housekeeper Wife
Mabel MACFARLANE - 12 - born St Helier, scholar, daughter
Emma MACFARLANE - 10 - born St Helier, scholar, daughter
William MACFARLANE - 5 - born St Helier, scholar, son
May MACFARLANE - 3 - born St Helier, scholar, daughter
Is this the same family? Not sure if the surname is written with Mac or Mc.
It may be just a co-incidence but FreeBDM shows a William Edward MACFARLANE
born Sept Q 1885 and Mary Belinda C. MACFARLANE born Sept Q 1888 in West
Derby!!

certificates of the children that were on the 1901 Channel Islands census,
