Nicolas Philippe RENOUF (m. Marguerite LA GERCHE) was buried in st John
in 1860. His son Nicolas (m. Ann Mary MAUGER) remained in Jersey.
There was a Nicolas Philippe baptised in St Mary in 1813 - his
godparents were Nicolas Ph. RENOUF and Mgte. LE GERCHE, and parents were
Jean RENOUF and Jeanne LE MARQUAND. I cannot otherwise link the two
families though. This Nicolas Philippe 'disappears' from Jersey after
his baptism (I can't find him!) so could have gone to NZ.
