Hello Dianne,
I do have Le Goubey (and Le Goube can't type the accent over
the e) connections.
Pierre Le Goube born C 1755 married Rachel Le Maitre 6 June 1778 in Vale,
they had 4 children.

I also have a connection with Le Goupyl which I believe maybe an earlier
spelling of the name, Renaude married James Le Maitre 28th June 1587 in Town

Thanks for the source info on Jeanne. Was the person she married called
Colas or Collis?

Hi Eric

Thank you for the names of Hellier Le Maitre's parents and his D.O.B. I will
add them to his notes. He married into a branch of my Le Goubey family. Let
me know if you want any details on the Le Goubey's. I do have most of it in
a tree up on CIpedia. If my memory serves me correctly, you have connections
to the Le Goubeys don't you? Mine is with Anne Le Goubey 1733-1821, d/o
Daniel Le G and Marie Ozanne.

Reference Jeanne Le Maitre, I first found the the information for Collis
Tostevin with his wife listed as _______ Le Maitre while searching the
Tostevin name on the Internet. They were listed in information by David
Pedgeley, which I note now has a link under the Tostevin surname on CIpedia.
A cousin in Guernsey found Jeanne's name while searching the records in the
Priaulx to confirm David Pedgeley's information. She found no details of who
her parents were though.

PS It's great to see information flowing again on this site. It was a bit
slow for a while.
