I am researching the name JEWELL and have found that Samuel Edward JEWELL
married Charlotte Snell CARTER in the Portsmouth Reg Dis in 1847.

Two girls, Charlotte, b 1842 in Jersey, and Eleanor, b 1845 in Southampton,
were
almost certainly the daughters of Charlotte Snell CARTER but were found in
Samuel's household as JEWELLs in the 1851 and 1861 censuses.

Charlotte Snell CARTER was born in Jersey c1822.

Is anyone able to help with any information about daughter, Charlotte, in
Jersey, please?

Is anyone also able to help with mother, Charlotte, please? Was she born as
Charlotte SNELL and married to a CARTER? Or christened as Charlotte Snell
CARTER?

Anything to help please.
