Hi,
I am a new subscriber so I hope I get this right!
I have reached a dead end on my family research and I am fairly new at this
so any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to get information on an Isaac Chase who was born Jan.22, 1797
and died Nov.20, 1819. He was married to Phebe Holrow who was born Oct.
1799, died Dec.24, 1859. Phebe died in Seneca County, New York. They had
two children who lived to maturity, George and Martha.
Family stories relate that the Chase family farm was the site where Joseph
Smith ( founder of the Mormon Church) dug up his seer stone. I have read in
some Mormon history books that the stone was dug up in upstate New York on
the Willard Chase farm. I am assuming that Willard was related. This is
all the info. I have - any ideas?

Thanks a lot for your time.
Nancy Chase
